BAND BIO
PLAN OF ATTACK
Since their formation in 2002, Chicago's, PLAN OF ATTACK caused quit a stir through out the hardcore and punk community. Playing all over the Midwest, Canada and the East Coast, their straight forward, no agenda approach helped to breathe life back into a scene that has been infected by fashion and baseless posturing. There is a revolution starting for the redemption of Hardcore. The kids are starting to see through the countless gimmicks and realize that there is no substance. What made P.O.A. stand out is their complete simplicity. There are no frills, what you see iswhat you get.
Plan Of Attack's latest release, The Working Dead, has stripped down hardcore to its basic foundation. Taking inspiration from past legends like Agnostic Front,
Negative Approach and Judge to up and coming legends like Terror, The Promise (rip) and A.18 (rip) and yet retained their signature blistering sound that could only be P.O.A.. “The Working Dead” is a testament to all the things in life that can hold you back. From work and school to relationships gone wrong. Also we would be doing you a great disservice to not mention that the cover of “The Working Dead” was done by the legendary NYHC artist Sean Taggart. Plan Of Attack cuts through all the hype and formulas and give you straight to the point passion. With their previous full length, “No Future”, a split releases with Terror, The Promise and The Killer, Plan Of Attack was on the verge of blowing up all over the world.
POA was one of the main reasons we got off our asses and started the label. There is something special going on in the Midwest that unfortunately gets over-shadowed by the Coasts. It should be that good music is good music no matter where the band is from. Do yourself a favor and check out bands from all around the world. You will not like ever band but you will find some real gems out there. Either way POA will be greatly missed and was grossly underrated.
Check out all the bands that they have spawned.
